Mail's here!

I came home from work to find a package taped in gray cardboard paper. It was nicely taped but it took a while to take that sucker off. Didn't have a knife or some form of cutting device near me. Wanted to open it carefully, but I ended up violently tearing the top off the package.

I dumped the contents onto my bed, and it was a copy of "Diggnation: Hazardous To Your Health". It's a DVD of extra footage from a podcast called "Diggnation" that covers top stories from the social news network site "Digg.com". I've been watching this show for the past 2 months, and I've enjoyed the time watching and becoming informed of what's going on in the world of technology or of the bizarre. So far, putting in hours of viewing pleasure, I've enjoyed what I've watched.

I suggest anyone to check out Diggnation...it's a really good podcast.

Have you heard that the newly elected mayor of Houston, Texas is a lesbian? I guess it wouldn't matter anyway of her sexual orientation, but the fact that she is the first gay mayor to held office in a major city. I think that America is slowly getting into its senses, as we stumble upon a new generation of open-mindedness.
